Microsoft Rises 0.8 Percent in Premarket as Mag 7 Stocks Finish Mixed

Microsoft shares rose 0.8 percent in premarket trading while other large technology companies posted smaller and mixed changes. Apple gained 0.5 percent, Amazon shares were unchanged, and Meta Platforms advanced 0.3 percent. Alphabet fell 0.7 percent, Nvidia declined 1 percent, and Tesla dropped 1.1 percent.
ON Semiconductor agreed to an all-stock deal to acquire Synaptics. ON Semiconductor shares fell 14 percent after the announcement while Synaptics shares rose 4.2 percent. Rocket Lab was selected by NASA to provide three Electron launches for the PolSIR and TSIS-2 missions beginning in early 2027.
Rocket Lab shares rose about 1 percent following the selection. Jefferies upgraded Tango Therapeutics to a buy rating. Tango Therapeutics shares climbed 5 percent after the upgrade. Wise shares rose 5 percent after the company made an announcement.
