The board, which includes Governor Tim Walz, state Attorney General Keith Ellison and state Chief Justice Natalie Hudson, issued the pardon while Vang was scheduled for deportation. Walz defended the decision in a public statement. "Did that make us any safer?
Did that make the children that are left behind any more stable? " he said. Spencer Pratt responded on X on Friday. "If you find yourself defending a child molester, saying: ‘WE can’t be judged by OUR worst day’, you probably need to have your hard drives checked," Pratt wrote.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio terminated Vang's legal status in the United States to allow deportation to proceed. The Department of Homeland Security carried out the removal. Pratt finished third in the Los Angeles mayoral primary and met with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
