Montreal Canadiens trade forward to Vancouver for future considerations

The Montreal Canadiens traded a veteran forward to Vancouver on Monday in exchange for future considerations. The player has one year left on his contract. Montreal retained 50 percent of the $6.5 million cap hit, which includes $4 million in salary.
