Moonpig reported total revenue of £284.5 million, an 8.6 percent increase from the prior year. The company said part of the growth came from customers selecting higher-priced gifts, larger cards, and next-day tracked delivery. Nearly 18 percent of orders included a gift, which drove a 5.7 percent rise in average order value.
Moonpig sells gifts and experiences from retail partners including Next, Jojo Maman Bebe, Boots, Pizza Express, and Virgin Wines.
Moonpig shares rose more than 10 percent on Thursday morning after the results were released.
