Moses Itauma to fight Filip Hrgovic at London's O2 Arena on 29 August
The 21-year-old British heavyweight meets the 34-year-old Croatian on 29 August after postponement from 25 July. The winner will stand first in line for a shot at Daniel Dubois' WBO heavyweight title.

British heavyweight Moses Itauma will fight Filip Hrgovic on 29 August at London's O2 Arena. The bout was postponed from 25 July after Anthony Joshua was booked to face Kristian Prenga on the original date. Itauma, 21, made his professional debut in January 2023.
He defeated Jermaine Franklin in March, extending his record to 14-0 and retaining the WBA International and WBO Inter-Continental titles. Hrgovic, 34, holds a 21-1 professional record. He won bronze for Croatia at the 2016 Olympics.
His only professional defeat came against Daniel Dubois in June 2024. Since that loss he has defeated Joe Joyce, David Adeleye, and Dave Allen, stopping Allen in Doncaster last month. Itauma and Hrgovic are ranked first and second, respectively, in the WBO heavyweight rankings.
The winner of the O2 Arena fight will be first in line for a shot at Dubois' WBO heavyweight title. "This fight is the litmus test Moses is ready for and it is the one he wanted," promoter Frank Warren said.
