Mossad's New Director Removes 22-Year Veteran Deputy in First Week, Issues Praise

azernews.azMossad Director Roman Gofman announced that deputy director A. had been removed from the post during the first week of Gofman's term. Gofman issued a statement expressing appreciation for the deputy's service.
"The head of the Mossad wished to express his deep appreciation to A. for his 22 years of operational service in the Mossad," the statement read. Deputy director A. had served 22 years in the Mossad before the change.
