Exhibition details The presentation runs on selected Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings from July through November. , and the experience itself lasts about 35 minutes. A full visit to the caves takes roughly 75 minutes. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority launched the project, which is the seventh contemporary art exhibition held at the site since it began hosting such events.
Visitors can reserve tickets through the authority’s website and may order picnic packages in advance.
Artistic concept The exhibition draws on the caves’ bell-like shape, formed during the Byzantine and Early Arab periods to keep ceilings stable. It explores themes of memory, birth, dreams, and consciousness through new arrangements of existing songs and one newly recorded track.
Projected images shift between abstract forms and recognizable scenes that appear and dissolve. Multiple projectors create different viewpoints, and the cave walls themselves become part of the changing visuals. The title refers to an “eighth sound” beyond the seven notes of the musical scale and the seven days of the week, representing an inaudible frequency linked to hidden memory and awareness.
