NASCAR Driver Joey Logano and Wife Brittany Begin Fostering Two Children

Joey Logano and his wife Brittany have entered the foster care program and are now fostering two children, expanding their family from five to seven members. Logano made the announcement during SiriusXM’s coverage of the 4th Annual Concert for Charity hosted by his foundation. The couple had discussed fostering for years but had previously talked themselves out of it due to their busy schedules.

Logano said the decision came after repeated calls to the idea. “We just felt like we kept getting called back to it... ’” he stated. The Logano family previously had three biological children: two boys and one girl.

Logano said the integration has gone fairly smoothly so far, with some of the children becoming quick friends. “You gotta have a badass wife, that’s a big piece of it. I got that, I can check that box,” Logano said.

Logano said the children have adjusted well. “All foster kids have been through the wringer, and they just need some love and somebody to show them that they are going to be something. You just got to polish the diamond that is already there,” he stated.

He also said he would make the same choice again. “Sometimes you just got to do what you feel like is right. I’d do it again, 100 more times,” Logano said.
