upi.comThe National Football League announced Tuesday that Nashville will host Super Bowl LXIV at the new Nissan Stadium. The game will conclude the 2029-2030 NFL season. This marks the first time Nashville has been selected to host the event. The announcement was made during the NFL Spring League meeting in Orlando and resulted from a vote by full ownership.
Stadium is scheduled to open in 2027.
The final steel beam was raised in November 2025 during a ceremony attended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville drew 600,000 fans. Goodell cited that event when describing the upcoming Super Bowl.
"The 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville was one of the greatest fan events in our history," Goodell said in a statement. " "We are thrilled that the new Nissan Stadium will host Nashville's first Super Bowl in 2030," Tennessee Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk said in a statement. " Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Las Vegas are also scheduled to host future Super Bowls.
