Tyler Graham, a Nashville content creator who posts about lawn tools and DIY projects, turned his cluttered backyard tool shed into a finished lounge space. Graham said the shed had become unusable because he stored tools there after filming review videos. He began the project in August 2025 after deciding the space could serve as a whiskey and cigar lounge.

He emptied the shed, donated or gave away unwanted items, and spent one week on demolition. Over the next three months he rewired the structure, installed insulation, lighting, and fans, and built new flooring and cabinetry. Graham completed most of the work alone and used online tutorials and ChatGPT for guidance on construction steps.

Many materials, including brick flooring and a fireplace, were provided as promotional items. Graham spent roughly $1,500 on a cowhide couch purchased from Facebook Marketplace and $1,500 on wood for cabinetry. The walls and ceiling are covered with staves from about 20 whiskey barrels supplied by a Nashville distillery after Graham posted about the project.

The finished 12-foot-by-20-foot space now contains a television, bar area, and seating. Graham said he uses it to watch University of Tennessee football games and Disney movies with his son. "There were multiple times when I wanted to give up," Graham said.

"It was a pretty stressful three months, because I didn't know how to do any of this stuff before. But it turned out way better than I thought it was going to.
