Natalie Harp, a longtime aide to President Trump, compiles material from social media and articles for the president to review before posting on Truth Social, according to the Wall Street Journal. Harp posts approved content, often during off-hours, while the president also posts directly. The process has been linked to two recent posts that drew public criticism.

Harp posts the approved content, frequently during late nights, weekends or holidays. White House officials said the president also posts messages on the account himself. The process has at times produced posts that generated public criticism.
Most recently, Trump faced scrutiny over an AI-generated image of himself depicted as a Christ-like figure. He also received criticism for a video that included a clip showing former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama as monkeys. Officials blamed an unnamed staffer for erroneously posting the video, while Trump said he thought the AI image showed him as a doctor.
Those familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal that Harp posted both items at the president’s direction. The White House Communications Director declined to comment on whether Harp was the staffer involved. "We don’t discuss internal deliberations of how the process works, but no other social-media tool has been more effective than Truth," the communications director said.
He added that Truth Social "has never been hotter" because the president offers his direct thoughts without media intermediaries. Harp does not share draft posts with other White House staff, seeking only the president’s approval. The practice has frustrated some officials.
She has maintained close proximity to the president, including after his 2020 election loss, often showing him favorable coverage to maintain his spirits. Harp first gained public attention when Trump invited her to speak at the 2020 Republican National Convention. ” "I wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for you," Harp said during the convention speech.
She later hosted a program on One America News Network before joining Trump’s team full time. ” Some accounts indicate the intensity of her loyalty has raised eyebrows among other associates.
The Wall Street Journal report provides the most detailed account to date of how Trump’s Truth Social activity is managed inside the White House. It remains unclear how many posts are prepared by Harp versus written directly by the president.
