reinstatement Fox Carolina reported Thursday that the pilots received notice of the suspension immediately after landing. A state National Guard spokesperson described the action as a standard administrative step taken whenever a flight profile undergoes review.
The spokesperson added that the measure was temporary, that the pilots continued working and receiving pay, and that it carried no punitive intent. The same day, a Pentagon spokesman announced that the suspension had been lifted effective immediately.
