NBA Announces 2026 All-NBA First, Second and Third Teams
The league named first-, second- and third-team All-NBA squads ahead of Game 4 of the Western Conference finals. Five players received first-team honors, and several others earned second- or third-team recognition.
ESPNThe NBA announced its 2026 All-NBA teams on Sunday before Oklahoma City hosted San Antonio in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals. Oklahoma City's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Denver's Nikola Jokic were unanimous first-team selections. San Antonio's Victor Wembanyama received first-team votes from all but one selector.
Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic and Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham joined them on the first team. Both Doncic and Cunningham received eligibility exceptions after playing 64 regular-season games.
Celtics forward Jaylen Brown, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell and Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard made the second team. Durant became the first player in league history to earn All-NBA honors with five different franchises.
Hawks forward Jalen Johnson, Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren, Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey, Oklahoma City forward Chet Holmgren and Denver guard Jamal Murray were named to the third team. Gilgeous-Alexander, Jokic, Wembanyama, Doncic and Cunningham finished in the top five of MVP voting.
Several players, including LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo, were ineligible because they did not meet the 65-game threshold.
