The Chicago Bulls are set to hire a former Atlanta Hawks executive as their new executive vice president of basketball operations. The executive spent 15 seasons in New Orleans before joining the Hawks last year. The Detroit Pistons have signed their coach to a contract extension.

The coach's five-year tenure in Orlando ends with the team's third straight first-round playoff loss. The Denver Nuggets are expected to take calls about their entire roster except superstar Nikola Jokic as the team goes through a roster overhaul in the offseason.
