Three NHL teams completed trades for veteran wingers between June 24 and June 26. The first deal sent a forward from one club to another in exchange for three future draft selections. The acquiring team gained a player who had recorded at least 20 goals in three of the previous five seasons.
The player agreed to an eight-year extension with an average annual value of $10.5 million. The sending team received a third-round draft pick and negotiating rights to an unrestricted free-agent forward.
