Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Plans Future Meeting With Birth Mother After First Phone Call

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has not yet had a face-to-face or video call with her birth mother. The 38-year-old reality star told The Post she realized she still needs more time before a Zoom call with her birth mother. “I’m holding off with that.

I don’t think I was ready,” Polizzi said from the red carpet for “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” which aired its ninth and final season on MTV on Thursday. The red carpet event was outside of Marquee nightclub in Chelsea. A native of Santiago, Chile, Polizzi was six months old when she was adopted by Andy and Helen Polizzi of Marlboro, NY.

During the show’s eighth season, Polizzi found her birth mom through an investigative genealogist and called her for the first time. The first phone call with her birth mother was conducted with the help of an interpreter. During the call her birth mother cried, apologized for putting her up for adoption, said it was a very difficult moment in her life, and that she suffered greatly from it.

Polizzi’s birth mother said she never forgot about her. ” Polizzi told The Post last year that she felt like she “blacked out in that moment” during the first call. Last year, Polizzi told The Post she was considering a Zoom call with her biological mom.

“No, so we never did that,” she said of the planned video conversation. Polizzi said she had a panic attack after what she did regarding contacting her birth mother. “In the future, yes, I would love to FaceTime her and eventually go to Chile and meet her,” she said.

Com reported that although the “Jersey Shore” star had plans to Zoom call her mom, she revealed she still hasn’t seen her birth mom. The series concluded its run on Thursday after nine seasons.
