Nigel Farage Tells Sky News Reporter to Stop Questioning Him About Associate’s Conviction

The Independent reported that Nigel Farage confronted a Sky News reporter who questioned him about financial support received from convicted criminal George Cottrell. The exchange occurred as Farage returned from Independence Day celebrations in Washington. Farage told the reporter, “You tell your bosses, you harass my family anymore.

I’ll take these serious consequences. That’s what your organisation has done this morning. ” Sky News stated it had not contacted anyone from Mr Farage’s family about the story. Farage described the scrutiny as an “establishment hit job” and said he had committed “no wrongdoing” while following the rules on the support from his long-term associate Cottrell.

Calls have been made for an investigation into the financial support.
