Nvidia H200 chips have resumed imports into China in small quantities, South China Morning Post reported. The H200 serves as a step down from Nvidia’s most advanced Blackwell line. China’s chip exports nearly doubled in the first half of 2026.
Much of the growth came from mature logic integrated circuits used in consumer electronics and automotive sectors. The United States remains the leader in the most advanced artificial intelligence chips. China is emerging as a dominant player in mass-market legacy integrated circuits.
Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix together hold two-thirds of the global DRAM market. US-based Micron accounts for 22 per cent of that market. China’s ChangXin Memory Technologies ranks fourth globally with an 8 per cent share.
The company is scheduled to make its debut in a Shanghai listing on July 27.
