Nvidia appointed Nick Parker executive vice president of worldwide field operations. Insider reported that Parker, a 26-year Microsoft veteran, will join the company next month. Parker most recently served as executive vice president and chief business officer of Microsoft's worldwide sales and solutions organization.
Before leaving Microsoft he had accepted a role leading the $2.5 billion Microsoft Frontier Company, which connects 6,000 engineers and industry experts with customers to help deploy AI. The position carried a CEO title and a larger head count than his prior role. Jay Puri is retiring from Nvidia after 21 years as head of worldwide field operations and will transition to an advisory role.
