Nvidia Launches RTX Spark Arm SoC for Windows Laptops and Mini-PCs

Nvidia announced the RTX Spark on June 1, 2026, an Arm-based system-on-chip that places CPU, GPU and unified memory on a single die for laptops and mini-PCs. The company said the chip family will ship in devices this fall. The flagship RTX Spark version contains 20 CPU cores, 6,144 GPU cores and 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory.

Lesser versions will offer as little as 16 GB of RAM and target lower price points. ” The RTX Spark is the same GB10 silicon used in the DGX Spark personal AI supercomputer released last year. Nvidia said an RTX Spark system with 128 GB of memory can host 120-billion-parameter AI agents locally.

The chip scales from low single-digit wattage to 80 watts and delivers graphical performance roughly equal to an RTX 5070 mobile GPU. Nvidia said RTX Spark laptops can render a 90 GB 3D scene, edit 12K video or run Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at 100 frames per second at 1440p resolution inside a 14 mm thick chassis without a power cord.

Mark Aevermann said battery life will be “much better than anything you’ve seen before on RTX laptops” and that users “won’t need a charger” for light workloads.

Eight laptops have been confirmed for the first wave: Asus ProArt P14, Asus ProArt P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook X14, HP Ultra 16, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9N, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI. ” Nvidia’s partners are developing more than 30 additional laptops and more than 10 desktops. Acer, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, MSI and Lenovo are among the desktop vendors.

At Microsoft’s Build conference this week, Microsoft will demonstrate new Windows security and containment primitives alongside Nvidia’s OpenShell runtime. Riot Games is bringing League of Legends and Valorant to Windows on Arm. Krafton is bringing PUBG.

Epic’s Fortnite arrived on Windows on Arm in November 2025. Applications running natively on Arm include Blender, DaVinci Resolve, Maxon Cinema4D, Maxon Redshift, Topaz Photo, CapCut, Cubase, Bitwig Studio and Affinity by Canva. Adobe has added special optimizations for Premiere and Photoshop on the RTX Spark chip.

The chips are manufactured on TSMC’s 3-nanometer process in partnership with MediaTek. Nvidia said the RTX Spark will not be paired with discrete GPUs and declined to comment on Linux driver support or manufacturing location. Nvidia CEO held up two RTX Spark laptops at Computex.

The company said its graphics and AI capabilities will advance Windows on Arm further than previous efforts and that local AI processing keeps user data private.
