The Obama Presidential Library will open to the public Juneteenth weekend on a 19.3-acre campus in Chicago's Jackson Park. The $850 million project documents the life and presidency of former President Barack Obama. Construction faced multiple delays and cost overruns.

Initial estimates placed the price at $300 million. A federal judge dismissed a 2022 lawsuit from a local group that claimed construction disrupted the historic park.
