The Daisy Chain Fields Festival is set for Aug. 29 at the Great Park in Irvine. The lineup includes Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Katseye, Mitski, The Breeders, Bikini Kill and Garbage, with special guests Karen O, Stevie Nicks and Sarah McLachlan.
Rodrigo described the lineup as “truly insane and full of my heroes and friends” and said she has dreamed of organizing the festival for years.
All net proceeds will go to charities focused on advancing and advocating for women and girls, domestic workers’ rights and indigenous health. Partner organizations include Baby2Baby, the Center for Reproductive Rights, the National Women’s Law Center, Planned Parenthood, National Domestic Workers Alliance and the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health.
The announcement follows the release of Rodrigo’s third album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It is her third consecutive album to reach the top of the chart.
