Altman was originally scheduled to arrive in South Korea on Sunday for a two-day trip. The itinerary included meetings with Samsung Electronics Co.
To discuss cooperation in AI, as well as sessions with executives from Naver Corp. and Kakao Corp. OpenAI stated that South Korea is a very important country and a strategic partner. The company said ongoing collaborations with domestic partners will continue as planned.
