A U.S. pilot already reached more than $100 million in annualized revenue, and the company projects the business could reach $100 billion by 2030. Amazon committed $35 billion to OpenAI, with portions of the funding tied to either a public listing or achievement of artificial general intelligence.
Aaron Levie described the recent actions as the arrival of "de facto AI regulation," noting that models crossing certain capability thresholds now face government review before release. Leaders are advised to design systems that can substitute models quickly, seek placement on trusted-partner lists, and prepare for increased disclosure and compliance requirements tied to IPO timelines.
