Oppo Releases Bubble Accessory for Rear-Camera Selfies

notebookcheck.netOppo launched a smartphone accessory called the Bubble that displays a live camera preview when users take selfies with a phone's rear cameras. The accessory includes remote camera controls and a shutter button. It connects wirelessly up to nearly 33 feet from the phone.
The Bubble features a round AMOLED touchscreen that is seven millimeters thick and contains a 550mAh battery. It charges through a USB-C port. When not in use, the screen can show 3D characters or user-selected photos and videos.
The Bubble works with the Reno 14, 15, and 16 models as well as the Find X8, X9, X9 Pro, and X9 Ultra. Users must attach a magnetic case to Oppo phones that lack built-in magnets. The accessory is sold in China for 499 yuan, about $73. Oppo has not announced plans for a global release or expanded device support.
