The Oto Smart Sprinkler is a solar-powered unit designed to attach to a garden hose and water lawns without a permanent power connection. The device measures 16 by 12 by 4 inches and weighs about 6 pounds. It can be placed on the ground, mounted to hardscape, or attached to a fence using the included metal bracket. 2-watt solar panel.

Users must initially charge the device overnight using the included power adapter with 50 feet of cable. The cable stores inside the unit beneath the solar panel, though the space can become wet during operation. The sprinkler connects to a standard garden hose and can reach up to 40 feet in a 360-degree radius, covering a maximum of 5,000 square feet.

A 50-foot hose length limit is specified to maintain adequate water pressure.

4-GHz Wi-Fi. A manual switch on top of the device allows users to start or adjust watering runs directly. The device is positioned as a simpler alternative to other smart sprinklers that require both hose and electrical connections.
