Russian drone attacks on Ukraine overnight from April 26 to 27, 2026, injured more than 10 people and caused significant damage to residential buildings in the Odesa region, The Guardian reported. The strikes inflicted the most damage in the central Prymorskyi district of Odesa, where residential buildings, a hotel and facilities in the city center were hit.

Serhiy Lysak, head of the local military administration in Odesa, stated on Telegram that residential buildings, a hotel and facilities in the center of Odesa city were damaged in the Prymorskyi district.

“It was an extremely difficult night,” Lysak said. Lysak added that high-rise residential buildings, private homes and vehicles were attacked in two other districts of Odesa. Separately, Ukrainian Prime Minister Julia Svyrydenko is expected to visit Poland on April 27, 2026.

During the visit, Svyrydenko will take part in a conference on the security and defence dimension of Ukraine’s recovery. Svyrydenko will also meet with Poland’s Donald Tusk during her trip to Poland.
