Reports indicate the collaboration extends beyond cosmetics. Fortnite is expected to add Overwatch-inspired weapons during the next act of its current season. Additional heroes will appear as NPCs, and portions of the King's Row map are set to be incorporated into the game island.
Blink ability and pistols will also be included. A Porsche Cayenne EV SUV featuring hero decals is likewise part of the update. The additions come months after initial leaks pointed to the crossover. The company has not yet released full details of the collaboration.
Overwatch debuted 10 years ago this month. The game is marking the anniversary with limited-time throwback modes and a selection of free cosmetic items, along with others available for purchase. The title recently received a soft relaunch and is scheduled to add 10 new heroes throughout 2026.
