Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones marry at courthouse

Jones have been together since 2019, when both attended the same university in Iowa. Haliburton played basketball for the school team and Jones was a member of the cheer team. Haliburton proposed on campus in July 2025.

The courthouse step comes weeks after Jones’ friend Makenzi Kern, 26, died during a bachelorette trip to St. Barths on June 8. An obituary listed the cause as “health complications.” Jones posted a tribute on Instagram stating she was “forever grateful” to have known Kern and that “Kenz was truly a light in this world.”
