Packers Agree to Three-Year, $57 Million Extension with Devonte Wyatt
The Green Bay Packers reached a three-year, $57 million contract extension with defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt on Monday that includes a $20 million signing bonus. The deal keeps Wyatt under contract through the 2029 season. It follows similar extensions for other Packers players this offseason.

The Green Bay Packers and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt agreed to a three-year, $57 million contract extension with a $20 million signing bonus, ESPN reported. The agreement, reached Monday, supersedes the $12.94 million Wyatt was scheduled to earn in 2026 and secures him through the 2029 season.
The Packers selected him with the No. 28 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and exercised the fifth-year option on his rookie contract last year.
Wyatt missed seven games last season after suffering a season-ending broken fibula and torn ligaments in his ankle during a Thanksgiving win over the Detroit Lions. He recorded four sacks and seven quarterback hits in 10 games last season and has 16 sacks and 30 quarterback hits in four NFL seasons. Wyatt, age 28, did not take part in any on-field practices during the 2026 offseason program.
The Packers signed linebacker Isaiah McDuffie to a one-year, $8.8 million contract extension less than a week earlier that keeps him with the team through the 2027 season. The team has also completed contract extensions this offseason with receivers Jayden Reed and Christian Watson. It is now expected to turn its attention toward signing tight end Tucker Kraft to a long-term deal.
The Packers' new defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon will switch the team to a 3-4 defensive front after playing a 4-3 in Wyatt's first four seasons. "We really like him," Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said of Wyatt earlier this offseason.
"He's got to get over the injury thing and make sure he can stay available to us, but when he's out there, he's very, very impactful, not only in the run game but as a pass rusher as well.
