Packers Coach Updates Injury Status for Three Players at OTAs

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur spoke to reporters outside the team's first OTA practice on Wednesday. He gave updates on the recovery of three players who ended the 2025 season on injured reserve.

LaFleur said he is encouraged by tight end Tucker Kraft's progress.

He noted a possibility Kraft could be ready by the start of training camp, though he later indicated a mid-camp return is more likely. Either timeline would allow Kraft to be available for the season opener.

Offensive tackle Zach Tom is recovering from a partially torn patellar tendon. LaFleur stated that Tom is progressing in the right direction. Earlier in the offseason, general manager Brian Gutekunst had expressed confidence that Tom would be ready by training camp, though LaFleur said a return by that date is not guaranteed.

Parsons, who tore his ACL in mid-December, remains the team's primary injury concern. Parsons is not participating in OTAs. LaFleur said Parsons is "doing great" and will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list. ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed LaFleur's comments on his podcast.

Under a recently approved NFL rule change, players placed on the PUP list at the start of the season cannot play in the first four games but may return to practice as early as Week 3.
