Palm Beach International Airport and Tennessee Bridge Renamed for President Trump
Officials in Palm Beach, Florida, and Dandridge, Tennessee, unveiled new signs Thursday renaming the airport and a bridge after President Trump. The changes follow state legislation passed earlier this year and last year.

Palm Beach International Airport has been renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport, airport officials announced Thursday. A bridge along Interstate 40 in Jefferson County, Tennessee, was also designated the President Donald J. Trump Bridge at a separate ceremony the same day. Airport officials said the three-letter code will remain PBI until it switches to DJT on August 18.
Renaming the airport will cost at least $5.5 million for new signage, branding, and materials, according to the airport website. Officials said physical signs, terminal spaces, and digital channels are being updated over the coming weeks. m. ET, Eric Trump wrote on X.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office approved the Trump family's trademark request for the new name in February.
Bessent spoke at the Tennessee bridge unveiling. The state Legislature passed a law last year renaming multiple bridges and roads, including the former Francis Burnett Swann Memorial Bridge. "From this day forward, every driver that encounters this bridge will see that it bears his name, because he has never stopped fighting for the people who travel on it because he has made their cause his own," Bessent said.
