Panama faces England at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, at 5 p.m. on June 27. New York Post reported that FOX Weather meteorologist Stephen McCloud said the weather around the New York/New Jersey stadium could be unsettled with a few showers possible this afternoon and evening.
McCloud added that the rain is not expected to be heavy or severe and will be more of an inconvenience. AccuWeather senior meteorologist Heather Zehr told the New York Post that the odds of a shower are about 20 percent and that any shower is unlikely to lead to a delay. Zehr said the sky will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures on the low side of the historical average.
The high ahead of the game will be near 80 degrees before dropping through the upper 70s during the match, she added, with moderate humidity and light south winds at 4 to 8 mph. New York Post reported that temperatures are forecast to reach the 80s on Monday and Tuesday before climbing to a high of 99 degrees on Wednesday and 101 degrees on Thursday.
