Paramount+ Adds 13 UFC Numbered Events for Canadian Subscribers in Expanded Rights Deal
The companies will stream 13 UFC numbered events on Paramount+ in Canada at no extra charge to subscribers. The move follows a $7.7 billion U.S. and Latin America rights agreement signed in 2025.
brobible.comParamount and the UFC agreed to expand their partnership to Canada, adding 13 numbered events to the streaming lineup on Paramount+. The expansion covers events traditionally known as pay-per-views. UFC action will be included for all Paramount+ subscribers in Canada with no extra charge.
Details on the first events streaming under the new arrangement will be announced later this year. 7 billion rights deal Paramount signed with the UFC in 2025, shortly after closing its merger with Skydance. That agreement covers the United States and Latin America and began in January 2026.
The UFC has been the top live draw on Paramount+ since the streams started at the beginning of 2026. Paramount reported that more than 10 million households have watched more than 100 million hours of UFC programming on the service. Viewership on Paramount+ has been more than 15 times the average for pay-per-views over the past two years, the company said.
The prior ESPN arrangement required an extra pay-per-view fee on top of an ESPN+ subscription.
