Paul Anthony Kelly Joins Cast of American Horror Story Season 13
Paul Anthony Kelly was announced as a cast member for the 13th season of American Horror Story at the 2026 Disney Upfront. He appeared onstage with other cast members who were already announced for the FX series. The announcement follows his role as John F. Kennedy Jr. in the limited series Love Story.

Paul Anthony Kelly will appear in the 13th season of American Horror Story, FX announced at the 2026 Disney Upfront on May 12. Kelly was introduced onstage by cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Billie Lourd and Emma Roberts.

Previous seasons of the series have featured settings including a murder house, a coven of witches, a freak show, a haunted hotel and an apocalypse storyline.
One cast member told Good Morning America that scripts for the season have been seen but not yet read. The cast member said she was looking forward to the twists and turns for the characters and the addition of new faces. In October 2025, Ryan Murphy announced that Ariana Grande would join the cast of the season.
Kelly previously played John F. Kennedy Jr. in Murphy's limited series Love Story: John F. Kennedy & Carolyn Bessette.
That series, which also starred Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn Bessette and Grace Gummer as Caroline Kennedy, set a record as FX's most-watched limited series premiere on streaming. The announcement was made in an FX press release in April. American Horror Story is co-created and co-produced by Brad Falchuk.
The series is now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. The Walt Disney Co. is the parent company of ABC News, Disney+ and Hulu.
