Pentagon Releases Second Batch of Declassified UAP Files
The Defense Department released dozens of documents and videos on May 22 showing military encounters with unidentified anomalous phenomena. Materials include a 2023 shootdown over Lake Huron and historical NASA audio from Mercury and Apollo missions.

Infrared footage shows the object struck and fragmenting in a radial pattern. The War Department did not identify recovered debris or confirm recovery attempts. A separate eight-minute edited clip depicts four objects moving in formation, described as areas of contrast that became indistinct as video quality degraded. The date and location of that formation were not disclosed.
