The Pentagon published a second batch of declassified files on unidentified anomalous phenomena Friday. The release includes dozens of photos, videos and documents and is hosted on the Pentagon website, which has recorded more than one billion visits since the first batch appeared two weeks earlier.

Agency spokesperson Sean Parnell said the Pentagon and other agencies are actively working on a third release that will be announced in the near future.

U.S. intelligence officer who described seeing two large orbs flare up near his helicopter in late 2025. The officer wrote that the objects were oval-shaped, orange with a white or yellow center, and emitted light in all directions. The same officer reported that he and the pilots later saw the orbs appear over nearby fighter jets.

He added that the orbs flared up and down around the aircraft for several minutes, formed a distinct triangle, and then vanished.

A 116-page document details 209 sightings of green orbs, discs and fireballs reported near a military base in Sandia, New Mexico, between 1948 and 1950. The file also records investigations into residual copper powder found at some sighting locations. S.

The first batch of files, released May 8, contained photographs of unidentified phenomena taken from the lunar surface by the Apollo 12 crew and a transcript of the Apollo 11 crew debriefing in which astronaut Buzz Aldrin described three unusual observations.
