PepsiCo and Morrisons Recall Snack Packs Over Undeclared Milk

PepsiCo has recalled certain 140g packets of Doritos Chilli Heatwave crisps after some were filled with Tangy Cheese flavour that contains milk. GB News reported the error left the allergen undeclared on packaging for the Chilli Heatwave product. The Food Standards Agency warned that the affected packets, marked with batch code GBC 209 184C and best-before date 5 December 2026, pose a health risk to people with milk allergies or intolerances.

The agency stated the product contains milk and could trigger reactions in sensitive individuals. Morrisons issued a separate recall for 140g packets of its Maple & Bacon Back of the Net snack. GB News reported that some packs contained an alternative product with undeclared milk and carry a best-before date of 22 August 2026.

The supermarket chain contacted allergy support organisations and posted notices in stores. Consumers are advised to return any affected items to the point of purchase for a full refund. This marks the second similar recall involving undeclared dairy in snack products within days.

Allergic reactions to milk can range from itchy mouth and rashes to severe anaphylaxis or breathing difficulties.
