Perez vs. Su Mudaerji Ends in No Contest After Accidental Low Blow at UFC Macau

Alex Perez was transported to a local hospital on the morning of May 31, 2026, for a precautionary testicular ultrasound after an accidental low blow ended his bout against Su Mudaerji at UFC Macau. The fight took place on May 30, 2026, at the Galaxy Arena. In the second round, Su Mudaerji connected with a low blow to Perez’s groin.

The 34-year-old crashed to the canvas in agony and began vomiting into a bucket. Perez was given five minutes to recover but could not continue. The fight was declared a no-contest. MMA Mania reported that Perez was taken to the hospital for the precautionary testicular ultrasound.

Alex Behunin posted on X that Perez was transported to the hospital this morning for the low blow he suffered at UFC Macau. The stoppage halted momentum Perez had built after a first-round knockout victory over Charles Johnson in January 2026. Since 2020, Perez has had 13 fights canceled for various reasons.

In his last eight fights, he has lost five, won two, and drawn one. Su Mudaerji entered the bout on a three-fight win streak. A similar incident occurred at UFC Vegas 86 in February 2024. Aoriqileng suffered an accidental groin strike from Daniel Marcos in the second round.

That fight was also ruled a no-contest after Aoriqileng was given five minutes to recover. Aoriqileng underwent a testicular ultrasound and precautionary CT scans of his head and face. His manager confirmed that the structure of his testicles was intact but swelling was discovered around the surrounding tubes.

Two other fighters from that event, Ihor Potieria and Fernie Garcia, were also transported for precautionary medical scans after their bouts.
