The 17,200-square-foot estate was designed by Argentine architect Alejandro Bustillo and includes a French Academic facade, six en-suite bedrooms, and a marble staircase.
The transaction was managed by boutique real estate firm JdC Propiedades.
Thiel has expressed admiration for Milei's economic policies, which focus on libertarian principles and austerity measures. These policies have attracted attention from investors in Silicon Valley, as noted in the report.
consultancy BuySell BA stated that this acquisition is not expected to be Thiel's last in the area. The consultancy reported that Thiel's associates are currently evaluating additional properties for potential purchase. The property sets a new high for residential prices in the Barrio Parque submarket, according to the report.
