Peugeot Sets UK Starting Price of E-208 GTi at £34,995

Peugeot announced a UK starting price of £34,995 for the E-208 GTi. 5 seconds and reaches a top speed limited to 112 mph. 2 seconds.

The car was engineered by Peugeot Sport. It uses a 54 kWh battery and offers up to 233 miles of WLTP range on Hankook Ventus S1 Evo3 tyres or 219 miles on the standard Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres. 4 kW home charger takes four hours and 40 minutes.

The E-208 GTi sits 25 mm lower than the regular E-208. Its front track is 56 mm wider and its rear track is 28 mm wider. It rides on 18-inch wheels and includes a mechanical limited-slip differential, specific springs and dampers with hydraulic bump stops, a larger rear anti-roll bar and 355 mm front brake discs with four-piston callipers.

A Sport mode alters the stability control system and disables regenerative braking. The exterior features widened wheelarches, a front spoiler, a glossy black rear diffuser, red detailing and 18-inch perforated wheels styled after the 205 GTi. Seven colours are offered: Okénite White, Elixir Red, Miramar Blue, Perla Nera Black, Artense Grey, Selenium Grey and Agueda Yellow.

Inside, the car has red carpets, red floor mats, red seatbelts and red stitching. Standard equipment includes Peugeot i-Connect Advanced, connected TomTom navigation, the “OK Peugeot” voice assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, red-themed digital displays, GTi-specific performance data, ambient lighting and a selectable sound setting.

Peugeot Care covers the vehicle and battery for up to eight years or 100,000 miles.

The Free2Move Charge Pass provides access to nearly one million charging points across Europe, and vehicle-to-load technology allows the car to power external devices.
