Philippine Quake Kills 41, Leaves Thousands Displaced

A magnitude-7.8 earthquake struck off Mindanao on Monday, killing 41 people and injuring more than 450 others. Thousands of residents remain displaced as rescue operations continue in affected areas. Officials have set up outdoor medical facilities to treat the injured while crews work to restore access to isolated communities.

Four people are still listed as missing. The death toll has risen steadily since the initial reports following the quake.
