Phoebe Dynevor starred as Daphne Bridgerton in the first season of the Netflix series Bridgerton, which premiered in December 2020. Dynevor made a brief cameo appearance in season two but has not appeared in the series since. In an interview on the Collider's Ladies Night podcast, posted on Saturday, Dynevor stated that the reason for her absence is that she has not been contacted by the production team. She emphasized that her departure after the first season was not by choice.
