Pink Parrot Media has closed initial territory agreements for the animated features “Tistou” and “Winner.” The Montreal and Madrid-based company is expanding its sales team and will present additional animated titles at the Cannes market. The moves come as the company builds its catalogue of family entertainment projects.

The film is produced by France’s Finalement in co-production with Belgium’s Walking The Dog and is positioned as one of the company’s main titles at Cannes. Pink Parrot Media has also reached a Middle East agreement with Front Row for “Winner,” a 3D animated English-language comedy-adventure.
The film follows a 12-year-old girl who overcomes difficult circumstances to become one of the best tennis players in history. It is produced by Paratha Entertainment in collaboration with the Rafa Nadal Foundation and was developed with writer-director Jaime Maestro.
Script and visuals for the project are being presented at Cannes.
The sales activity coincides with an expansion of the company’s sales team. A former executive from All Rights Entertainment has been appointed senior sales manager and will lead international sales of animated features while contributing to acquisitions.
The executive’s territories include Benelux, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, CIS, Ukraine and key Asian markets including Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. The new hire reports to the company’s vice president and head of international sales and acquisitions.
At Cannes, Pink Parrot Media will also present exclusive material from two additional 3D CG animated features currently in production. “Unstable,” a whimsical adventure-comedy co-produced with U.K.-based Cantilever Productions, and “The Bottanix,” a magical comedy-adventure, are both produced by Canada’s CarpeDiem Film & TV and are set for delivery in 2027.
The company’s broader slate includes the Danish 3D CG feature “Emma & Thomas,” based on Gunilla Wolde’s bestselling Scandinavian book series, and “MoMonsters: The Movie,” the first feature adaptation of the Spanish “MoMonsters” series. A company statement described the new senior sales manager as bringing experience from international distribution, sales and financing with a focus on animation and theatrical releases.
The appointment is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the company’s global footprint in family entertainment.
