Pistons Acquire Prince and Harris in Exchange for LeVert and Picks

The Pistons will trade Caris LeVert and two second-round picks to the Bucks for Taurean Prince and Gary Harris. The transaction will create a traded player exception equal to LeVert’s salary and produce approximately $7.2 million in additional cap room below the luxury-tax line.

Both second-round picks heading to Milwaukee are from the 2027 draft. One belongs to the Pistons and the other is the least favorable selection between Brooklyn and Dallas. All three players involved are on expiring contracts. LeVert is scheduled to earn $14,809,200 next season, while Prince and Harris each carry salaries of $3,815,861 after exercising their player options.

LeVert appeared in 60 games off the bench last season, averaging 7.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 41.7 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three-point range. Prince missed most of last season after neck surgery in November and played in 26 games, averaging 9.2 points and 3.1 rebounds.

Harris appeared in 48 games.
