Pitcher allows career-worst nine earned runs in 15-1 loss

A starting pitcher surrendered a career-high nine earned runs in 3 1/3 innings during a 15-1 loss on Monday afternoon. The left-hander, 29, said through an interpreter that he could not identify a specific cause. "Nothing really," he said.
