Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said Poland can share its experience from the 1989 shift from communism to a market economy with Cuba. He spoke to reporters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw on Tuesday. Sikorski said Poland's transition was successful but uncomfortable for Polish society.

He added that the country abandoned communism through a rapid and tactical process that initially shocked the national economy.

Sikorski stated that Poland's negotiated transition was bloodless but not entirely satisfactory psychologically. Communist politicians largely faded away rather than facing punishment, he said. Deputy Minister of National Defense Paweł Zalewski said the government is keen on presenting the Polish experience of transformation from the communist system to democracy and the market economy.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. He affirmed that the foreign affairs minister supports the democratization of the state. A report emerged over the weekend claiming that Cuba has received over 300 attack drones from Iran and Russia in recent years. U.S. military action could result in a bloodbath with incalculable consequences.
