The figure fell from 83% to 31% in Sweden, from 83% to 35% in Canada, from 62% to 27% in France, and from 76% to 59% in Japan.
Seventy-four percent of respondents disapproved of the current U.S. president's handling of relations with Iran, and 77% disapproved of the approach to tariffs. Among six world leaders included in the survey, the median confidence rating for the current U.S. president ranked second-lowest at 23%.
