Powerball Jackpot Reaches $348 Million After No Winner in June 24 Drawing

The Powerball jackpot rose to $348 million after no tickets matched all six numbers in the June 24 drawing, Forbes reported. The numbers drawn were 3, 14, 16, 21, 38 and Red Powerball 14. A winner may select either the full $348 million paid in 30 annual installments or a one-time cash option of $157.5 million.

After the mandatory 24 percent federal withholding, the cash payment falls to about $119.7 million. Application of the top 37 percent federal marginal tax rate would reduce that amount further to roughly $99 million. Annual annuity payments of about $11.6 million would drop to $7.3 million after the same federal rate.

Additional state taxes may apply depending on the winner’s residence. New York taxes lottery winnings at 10.9 percent, while Texas, Florida and California impose no state tax on such prizes. The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Saturday, June 27.

One day earlier, the Mega Millions drawing offers a $489 million jackpot. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot stand at 1 in 292.2 million, compared with 1 in 290. A $533 million Mega Millions prize was claimed by a ticket sold in Illinois in March 2026.

The largest Powerball jackpot awarded so far this year is $250.8 million, won by a player in Arkansas.
