President Shares Side-by-Side Images of Two Democratic Candidates

The president posted two sets of side-by-side images on Truth Social late on July 3 comparing Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff to the 1980s character Pee-wee Herman and Texas State Representative James Talarico to the MAD magazine cartoon figure Alfred E. Neuman. No captions accompanied the images. The posts targeted two Democratic candidates whose profiles have risen within the party.

Ossoff has raised more than $60 million through late April, compared with Collins' $4.9 million through late May. Ossoff has criticized the president's policies on inflation and tariffs at recent campaign events. He told a TMZ interviewer that he does not care about nicknames and instead focuses on the cost of gas, groceries, and health care.
